| Danville is located off of
highway 680 between Alamo and San Ramon. Like Alamo, the west
side is older and more established. Many new home developments
dot the east side. Downtown Danville is charming with quaint
shops and restaurants including the historic Danville Hotel,
one of the photos in the slide show above. Also shown are
the new library and community center buildings and the Danville
Livery & Mercantile shopping area. The country club communities of Diablo and
Blackhawk lie in the hills surrounding Danville.
